About Fear Fête
Fear Fête Horror Film Festival seeks to promote local, national, and international independent horror films and the artists that produce them for the purpose of community entertainment and broadening the film arts.
Fear Fête has also partnered with the Al Azar Grotto in Baton Rouge. Proceeds from the event will help support their mission in the fight against Cerebral Palsy in children.
Louisiana has recently been dubbed "L.A. South" by many because it has become the go-to spot for movie production. In fact, our state is now nationally ranked 3rd for shooting movies, behind California and New York.

Fear Fête is Louisiana’s premier independent film festival for horror submissions. Rave Motion Pictures 15 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana will host this three day film festival accepting horror short and feature films from local, national, and international filmmakers.
"Dead Carpet" VIP Party
Fear Fête Horror Film Festival will kick-off with the "Dead Carpet" VIP Party. The reception will feature authentic cajun/southern cuisine, free cocktails, actors & directors awards ceremony, and live music. The event will be open to VIP All-Access members, Sponsors and Filmmakers only! Attendees will have the chance to meet-and-greet talented actors and filmmakers from the movie industry.
Film Festival Screenings
Rave Motion Pictures 15 has partnered with us for this annual event. The event is open to the general public and will be held Friday October 5 - Sunday October 7, 2012 in the infamous theater room "13". Screenings will last approximately four hours each night, showcasing horror films by genre in blocks. At the conclusion of each block, awards will be presented to the filmmakers and directors, with a brief "Q&A" allowing the audience to interact with the honored cast and filmmakers.
